Summarizing how the gadget functions

Noise-cancelling headphones reduce unwanted ambient sounds (i.e., acoustic noise) by means of active noise control (ANC). Essentially, this involves using a microphone, placed near the ear, and electronic circuitry which generates an "antinoise" sound wave with the opposite polarity of the sound wave arriving at the microphone. This results in destructive interference, which cancels out the noise within the enclosed volume of the headphone.Technically speaking, any type of headphone can provide some passive noise reduction. That's because the materials of the headphones themselves block out some sound waves, especially those at higher frequencies. The best passive noise-canceling headphones, however, are circum-aural types that are specially constructed to maximize noise-filtering properties. A microphone placed inside the ear cup "listens" to external sounds that cannot be blocked passively. Speakers erases the noise by destructive interference, but does not affect the desired sound waves in the normal audio. Using these components, noise-canceling headphones are able to provide an additional reduction in noise of 20 decibels. That means about 70 percent of ambient noise is effectively blocked, making noise-canceling headphones ideal for airline and train travel, open office environments or any other location with a high level of background noise. While noise-canceling headphones do a good job distinguishing between the audio a wearer wants to hear and the background noise he or she wants to keep out, some people say that they compromise sound quality by muffling sounds.

Describing main/ major and minor parts or components

Speaker

Speaker is one of the major part in this device. It is place inside the ear cup. The "anti-sound" created by the noise-canceling circuitry is fed into the headphones' speakers along with the normal audio; the anti-sound erases the noise by destructive interference, but does not affect the desired sound waves in the normal audio. The minor part in the speaker are diaphragm, suspension, basket, spider, magnet, dust cap, and voice coil, just like what we can see in the picture above. A system's speaker is the component that takes the electronic signal stored on things like CDs, tape and DVDs and turns it back into actual sound that we can hear. A speaker is essentially the final translation machine -- the reverse of the microphone. It takes the electrical signal and translates it back into physical vibrations to create sound waves. When everything is working as it should, the speaker produces nearly the same vibrations that the microphone originally recorded.

Microphone

Microphones just convert a real sound wave into an electrical audio signal. In order to do so, they have a small, light material in them called the diaphragm. When the sound vibrations through the air reach the diaphragm, they cause the diaphragm to vibrate. This in turns will somehow cause an electrical current in the microphone to vary, whereupon it is sent out to a mixer, preamplifier or amplifier for use. Microphones are typically classified according to how the diaphragms produce sound. A microphone placed inside the ear cup "listens" to external sounds that cannot be blocked passively.

Describing things

You are young and punk. Thus, you like enjoying listen to music. But then, while you grooving with your music, there suddenly another noise cut down your mood. Nowadays, one way to enjoy the pleasure to listening music is using this gadget called NOISE-CANCELING HEADPHONES. Luckily, there's a piece of audio equipment designed especially to maximize your listening experience, keeping noise out without sacrificing your music's sound quality. there are three type of headphones which are Supra-aural headphones, circumaural headphones, and in-ear headphones. Basically, noise canceling headphones, is one type of cicumaural headphones, also known as around-ear or closed-back headphone. It is completely enclose the listener's ears. Because they form an airtight seal, they block out external noise without leaking sound to the outside. This improves sound quality, but circumaural headphones tend to be heavier and less comfortable. The major component in this gadget is speaker which is place inside the ear cup. In the other hand, the minor part is microphone that also place inside the ear cup.

3P: Plan,prepare, and practice

Before the presentation, I have ask my roomate to be my audience. I practice in front of her and she judge me and also recorde my time. One of her comment is that, I present with no attitude. I should add more attitude so that it makes me look confident. I have also include my attention-gatter which is a simple poem video which I write myself. But then the video has steel my time. In that case, I have to decide to cut the video scene. I decide just to use my own attitude which is checky, fun, and loud to be my attention-gatter.

Beside that, she comment me that my presentation slide is too boring. She suggest that I change a little bit with more picture and less word. Then, I present for the second time for the next day, my roomate says that I improve my presentation skill if compare to the first presentation that I have present in fron of her. Thanks a lot to her because giving a good advice to improve my presentation skill.

The oral presentation

I have chosen option 2 for my oral presentation which is introducing myself. I take my principe as my personal stand stetement. My principe is "every decision I make today will not make me empty tommorow. I decide this principe to be my personal stand statement because it make what I am today. I didn't regret with every decision I make in live. But whenever I make mistake, I always learn. It make me grow to be a mature person.

Beside that, the reason I live is because of my family. For me, family always come first. They always be there with me everytime. I feel very lucky to have this happy family. Futhermore, they make me what I am. My parents are the important person who build my characters. They teach me a lot to be a better person.

In addition of why I choose to introduce myself are because I like people to know me well and can be my sincere friend. Beside, I think I am interesting person and I got a lot things to tell about me. I hope this oral presentation is my platform to let my classmate to know me better.

Who is the best presenter? Who is the worst? Why

After watching the video clips, I have decided to choose MR ED TATE to be the best presenter. This are because he looks confident and take control of the audience. We can see when his eye always look into audience which is mean he got a good eye contact. He can control the stage and dosen't look nervous. Audience seems to consentrate to every words he says. This mean that, he say every word clear and loud. I think the worst presenter is THE MICROSOFT DUDE. He realy shaking on the stage and nervous. He even not often raise his head and having eye contact with the audience. He always using the word 'urm....' and he dosen't prepared his speech.
